Brisbane FC Ready For Must Win Match With Mitchelton

FC Wolves coach Sam Saif rates Sunday's Premier League clash with Mitchelton as a 'must win' for the home side.

Mitchelton are anchored at the bottom of the ladder and Brisbane FC need three points from the Carmichael Park battle to continue their push up the table.

''It's a massive game for us, a massive game. It's like the match we played against Souths, it's one we just can't afford to lose,'' Saif said.

Despite the visitor's position on the ladder, Saif is expecting a tough encounter from the Mitchy boys, coached by the experienced Iain Fagan.

''I've watched them a couple of times and they have recruited some new players, they've strengthened. They played well against Rochedale last week, so we won't be underestimating them, it will be a very hard match.

''We've just got to keep stepping up to the mark. If we go out and play like we have in 95 percent of our games that should take us to victory,'' Saif said.

Competition for positions is fierce, but former Mitchelton keeper Ben Wicks (pictured) is likely to line-up against his former club. Wicks is being pressed for first team duties by Adrian Ghidella, who has recovered from a long term knee injury.

Brisbane FC striker Cadeau Aoci will be out to continue his strong form in front of goal. Aoci, a refugee from the Congo, has been one of the finds of the season scoring 6 goals in 8 matches.
