Brisbane FC Wolves are hoping to bounce back from last week's away loss and post their first win in front of their home fans on Saturday night.
FC Wolves take on Souths United at Carmichael Park, where they have played strongly all season, without luck.
Coach Sam Saif said the side will approach the round 7 match against Souths United like they have every other, with a mindset on a win.
''It's a match we must not lose,'' Saif said. ''Unfortunately our home fans have had little to cheer about. We've had great support at home matches and the lads appreciate it, but even though we've played well we've only come away with a couple of draws.
''It has been frustrating, especially after we were keen to get off to a good start. In any league if you give away a start it's hard to fight against the tide, but we really believe the tide will soon start to turn.''
Souths will prove tough opposition as they are sitting mid-table and will be stinging from a 4-0 loss against Rochedale last week.
''We know it is going to be a tough match. They are a strong side, are playing well and have won three more matches than us.
They are sitting comfortably on nine points, if we can beat them it will take us to within three points of them and edge us closer to mid-table.
I'm confident if we play like we did in the first five rounds we can get that elusive first win, we're very close and hopefully we can do it in front of our loyal supporters,'' Saif said.
Injuries have not helped FC Wolves cause and depending on a few fitness checks the squad could be down to a 14-man outfit for the match.
FC Wolves will again be without DJ Rowley (groin) Luke Fallini (shoulder) and Paul Pizzica (groin). However Saif said their absence will open opportunities for some of the reserves with some bench players likely to be promoted to the starting line-up.
