Brisbane FC Wolves won a hard fought encounter over Rochedale in a pre-season 'friendly at Carmichael Park this afternoon (February 16).

In an end to end encounter, played under difficult conditions, the Wolves scored a 2-1 win over the defending Premier League champions.

Brisbane's big wet stopped the field from being mowed and a grassy pitch slowed the match at times. However, both sides adapted well to the conditions and played an entertaining match for the small crowd.

The Wolves led 1-0 at halftime before Rochedale drew level courtesy of a penalty midway through the second half. Minutes later Brisbane FC hit back from the spot and held their lead until the fulltime whistle.
