The objective of the Brisbane FC Academy is to create a professional football environment aimed at coaching home grown youth players who share a desire of becoming future professional footballers.
Academy players will be expected to maintain a high standard of discipline at all times outlined in the club code of conduct whilst representing the brisbane football club and community.
Brisbane Football Club will commence trials at Carmichael Park in December 2007 for their U21 academy team and the selected train on squad will be based at the new home of Brisbane FC Wolves playing in the new blue and white colours of the Brisbane based club.
Selected academy players will compete in the Brisbane Premier League competition from 2008 and will be coached by Sam Saif a former academy coach with Sheffield United in England.
The Brisbane FC Wolves will offer a professional daily training programme for Academy players with the aim of developing the players football and life skills on and off the field.
Brisbane FC will also offer educational benefits supported by Nudgee College aimed to meet secondary school requirements for selected academy players.
Players will soon develop a strong work ethic combined with the enjoyment and benefit of being part of a team environment focused on achieving individual and team goals set by our professional coaching staff.
Brisbane FC has a vision to not only develop better players but more importantly create better young people.
Yours sincerely,
Alan Hunter
